Growing Kings Founder Honored by the Association of Fundraising Professionals

Growing Kings own, Marcus Carson, was among a select group of heavy-hitters honored at the Alabama chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ annual National Philanthropy Day Awards in 2010.

The organizations’ luncheon was held Nov. 18 at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel, and the G.K. Founder shined amongst a host of distinguished non-profits in the “Outstanding Youth In Philanthropy” category. Growing Kings was revered for its outstanding commitment to providing enrichment and mentoring programs for at-risk males in the community.
